New Article on Ecosystems of Resistance in the Ancient Andes by Langlie

Check out Dr. Langlie's new article in the Journal of Anthropological Archaeology titled: Building ecological resistance: Late intermediate period farming in the south-central highland Andes (CE 1100–1450). This article defines the idea of ecological resistance as how farmers manipulate land, plants, and animals, and in doing so impact the ability of others to assert hegemony over their labor and products. Then, this article examines a case study in the Peruvian Andes.
